I personally like J Crews new threads, ESPECIALLY their button up shirts. I was lurking their site and found some hidden gems. I'm almost always in a button up shirt now a days. So, I definitely pay attention to detail.
Here's the standard selvedge utility button up. A classic style shirt with a sharper fit.
They also make light weight button ups with several styles and patterns. Here's a flannel shirt to go with your RED WINGS!
We are planning to indulge in some drinking and dancing tonight. Should be a casual location and I just want to be comfortable. As I plan out my fit, I also have to take account that it should be chilly and possibly even wet in Downtown LA. Here is my plan of attack. Thoughts?
Big Al. One of the bloggers you will find on this site. I love fashion, Los Angeles, shoes, family, food, fitness, music, friends, pop culture, New York, and most importantly my beautiful wife. I'm sure you'll gradually get to know me better as you read along but here is a small sample of what a blessed life I have had so far.
Band of Outsiders on Gilt man 9 AM PST this upcoming Monday, March 1st. I'm sure everyone, including myself, is licking their chops since Gilt has BoO only twice a year. I'm crossing my fingers for this Madras plaid shirt to make an appearance come Monday.
Gilt Groupe is an amazing online shopping experience. If you're not a member you can sign yourself up and pray for a miracle to happen by Monday. Or .. send me an email and I'll send you and invite free of charge for an expedited membership (but thank you in advance for the $25 referral bonus). http://www.giltman.com/s/bandofoutsiders?ifs=preview
I've always been a fan of Adidas. They're definitely heading in the right direction with the new RANSOM x Adidas collaboration, very sleek and stylish. One of the most plain and inspirational designs I've seen. And I'm sure comfortability isn't an issue. Here are a couple of teaser pictures for your viewing pleasure. photo via hypebeast
I ran into this APC Peacoat jacket last night and now I'm losing sleep over it. It couldn't have fit any better. I've done countless calculations to rationalize buying it but I haven't found the right formula as of yet. What about "because I really really want it" .... Is that gonna fly?
