Break The Monotony

I was headed to the gym after work when my bro-in-law called and invited me for a few drinks. I decided to break the monotony of my daily grind and I accepted the invitation. He recently moved to a loft in the heart of downtown Los Angeles and I was excited to be out and about on a Monday.

We decided to have drinks at The Must. Chill spot filled with LA's finest yuppies and I did my best to blend in.

Any bar that serves malt liquor and OE gets two thumbs up.

Just like any night in LA, it ends like this.

Patience is a virtue

I ran into these Eastland Seneca boots while shopping at Los Feliz yesterday. The boot was priced at retail and they didn't have my size.  Being the impulsive shopper that I am, I wanted them on the spot and I was really debating whether I should double up on my socks just to fit into the boot. Sounds crazy but it's true. I decided not to force the issue and walked away disappointed. Fortunately, I used my daily lurking skills this morning and found the Eastland Seneca at a much cheaper price online with free shipping and no tax to Cali. Happy Monday!
