Smokey Mountain, PI

I know it's a bit off topic from our usual posts, but since all of the bloggers are FILIPINO, I had to include this story I read on CNN's international site.

Closed for almost 20 years "Smokey Moutain" is still a home to dozens of families. Although closed the landfill caters to it's occupants. Residents still rummage through the fill and grow plants in it's high level mercury soil.

F.U. Adam Carolla

Second look: Nike Manny Pacquiao Trainer 1

Here is a second look of the Nike Manny Pacquiao Trainer 1 re-released before last weekend's schooling of Joshua Clottey.  The red, white, yellow, and blue commemorates the Philippine national flag. These shoes are not shy of showing some national pride. I'm all about packaging these days and the special edition box that the Pacquiao Trainer comes with is bananas.  Check out the details of the box.
