White Canvas

Wearing all white shoes is similar to painting on a blank canvas. You can leave it up to your imagination to add any color, print, or design to complete the look you're trying to achieve. True white canvas shoes are a 100% must.  The classic look never goes out of style and you can wear it with almost anything in your closet.  Here are my favorite true whites in the market right now.

Trickery.

The Donny Miller Slip-Up from OFF THE WALL SINCE 66 on Vimeo.

Check out this video showcasing some art done by Donny Miller. Each piece plays tricks on your eyes. The video goes hand in hand with new Vans Vault shoe Donny did, the Donny Miller Slip-Up. Yes, they're slip ons. I know, 2 vans posts in a row, but this was too crazy not to post. Here are some pictures of the shoes.

Second look: Nike Manny Pacquiao Trainer 1

Here is a second look of the Nike Manny Pacquiao Trainer 1 re-released before last weekend's schooling of Joshua Clottey.  The red, white, yellow, and blue commemorates the Philippine national flag. These shoes are not shy of showing some national pride. I'm all about packaging these days and the special edition box that the Pacquiao Trainer comes with is bananas.  Check out the details of the box. Picture provided by Alan Jay from NY. Sold out at Nike on-line stores but you might find a pair with some digging through local retailers.

Second look: Nike Kobe Zoom V - Bruce Lee

My affinity for sneakers is very few and far between these days. But when I saw the Nike Kobe Zoom V - Bruce Lee editions on my brother-in-law's feet, I had to take a second look. The yellow represents the jumpsuit Bruce Lee wore in "The Game of Death" and the four red scratch marks are from "Enter the Dragon". The idea behind this colorway is pure genius. Here is a detailed pic of the shoes w/ the red laces (courtesy of @bimbot).  Your only chance on getting this limited edition Nike Kobe Zoom V's today are with the resellers via ebay or ISS.  But if you still want a dose of the Nike Kobe Zoom V's, click here for some general releases.

Sport shorts and ventilated footware

I recently purchased a pair of RVCA VA Sport shorts. They're a pretty good buy considering I do everything in them. From running, to lifting, to bouldering, to mma, they hold up well and are insanely comfortable. I'd much rather wear these for overall performance.

Also, you'll see me doing all of that in these NIKE Hyper-Lite ND. The MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES I have had thus far.

Training Day

I'm always in the market for new shoes to train in. I'm not biased to a specific brand, so I'm open to try a wide array of shoes. In the recent months I've been training in a pair of Nike Lunarglide+ . Very lightweight but enough cushion to relieve your precious feet of all the beating. These runners are also very aesthetically pleasing. A great bonus considering most running shoes in the market look like Voltron's feet. So whether you're a serious runner or just in need of a comfortable sneaker, give the Nike Lunarglide+ a try. You and especially your feet can thank me later.

My favorite colorway ..

Also comes in the Livestrong edition for all the Lance Armstrong fanatics ..
