No Homo.

First things first, my wife brought this to my attention while she was looking at the pictures. I'm sure everyone's WAGS (wives and girlfriends) are looking at this article as well. For us guys, we can view it as a motivational tool to hit the gym harder and not eat carbs for the rest of the year. Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba are both repping their countries for the World Cup on the new cover of Vanity Fair. And when I say repping, I mean that at it's minimalist form. Look at the pictures and you'd get my drift. Vanity Fair also features American Landon Donovan, Brazil's Kaka and Pato, Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o, and few others in their World Cup article. We already know soccer players have the hottest WAG's, I'm sure this will even boost their status with the ladies up a few more notches.

And here is a bonus video that I'm sure you're girl has seen a few times as well.

Travel Bag.

I‘m in need of a highly functional bag to stash all my essentials for our travel plans this summer. A bag with enough cushion to protect my laptop, camera, lens, and kindle without looking like I’m backpacking through Europe for a month. I think I’ve found exactly what I need with The Hundreds Paparazzi Backpack. It has three main compartments to protect my gadgets and it’s not too bulky. Available in black, this would be perfect for my plans traveling low key. Last thing I want to do is attract attention with flashy gear and get jacked.

Speaking of The Hundreds, I’m on my third pair of their Valenzuela Lows. I absolutely love how they feel on my feet. I'm tagging them as my casual summer shoe this year.

Parkour Challenge

Parkour is getting from point A to B using only the human body and the objects around you. From jumping, running, climbing, diving; it's only you and the elements that surrounds you. I can only wish to have the strength, balance, and cajones to be traceur.  MTV is having a Parkour Challenge premiering this Thursday. But for now you can enjoy this crazy vid. These guys are amazing.

Also check out this parkour/freerunning scene from Casino Royale featuring Sebastion Foucan. One of the founding fathers of parkour.

Old With The New.

Levi's archive collection is now available at Steven Alan. Some great old school inspired pieces from a raw stitched hoody to a carpenter-style pocket shirt worth checking out. Vintage is as good as basics, so I'm definitely into it.

Zoom.

The Zoom Kobe V's have instantly become the best basketball shoe in the market right now, but I feel they have been lacking a legitimate colorway(that isn't limited edition). I've been wanting a pair for a while, but I can't find a colorway I like. But while lurking, I found a pair in the best colorway I've seen yet. The dominant blue looks so clean with the black sole. I also like the simplicity of the shoe, nothing real flashy. Unfortunately I have to wait till July for this colorway, but maybe for now I can settle with the Draft Day colorway or try to get my hands on the All-Stars.

Little Jersey Shore

I'm not too sure how old this video is, but I recently saw it and I was dying. Kids are awesome...sometimes.

The Shack.

Only Lance Armstrong can make Radioshack, I mean "The Shack", somewhat cool. Out of the millions of corporate sponsors available, I still can't believe they picked Radioshack. They were better off with Shake Shack.

S/Double Project

Shawn Stussy sold Stussy in 1996 and is now working on a new project called S/Double. The man practically designed my wardrobe as a teenager. One of the most influential names in streetwear is now branching out into basics. I guess us 30-year-olds have to grow up and stop wearing those bright ass graphic tees at some point. S/Double has got some pieces to smoothen that transition. And if I may add, the S/Double white bucks are the bizness.

Rain On Their Parade

Inter Milan advanced to the Champions League Final on a 3-2 aggregate by holding Barcelona to only one goal at their home field, Camp Nou. So how does the Catalan host respond to their defeat? How about turning on the sprinklers at Camp Nou while Inter celebrated their win. No one is clear if this was intentional or coincidence but talk about raining on someone’s parade.
